GTWCA Qualifying Classification Race 1
Sonoma, California - The Fanatec GT World Challenge America Presented by AWS kicked on Saturday off with damp conditions bringing about some challenging grip, which then caused several minor offs and led to some slight delays. Luckily, the track rapidly dried up in later sessions, hopefully bringing about more favorable conditions for some thrilling GT3 wheel-to-wheel.
Qualifying Race One
In Pro, Jordan Pepper claimed the top spot in the #1 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 with a 1:48.782, followed by Russell Ward in the #33 Windward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 setting a 1:52.376. US Racetronics’ Steven Aghakhani set the third-fastest time of 1:53.127 in the #3 Mercedes-AMG GT3.
