DESDER, the independent haute horlogerie brand inspired by movement, engineering and the pursuit of what comes next, has proudly been announced as presenting partner of the Indianapolis 8 Hour, the season finale event of both the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS and Intercontinental GT Challenge championships.

The partnership marks an important next chapter in DESDER’s growing relationship with SRO Motorsports Group and extends the brand’s presence within the global GT racing community. Already established as a presenting partner of GT World Challenge events at Misano and Monza earlier this season, DESDER will now bring its presence stateside for the American finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for one of the most significant races on the international GT calendar.
The Indianapolis 8 Hour provides a fitting stage for DESDER, as its challenge is defined by the same qualities that underpin the brand’s approach to haute horlogerie: precision under pressure, relentless development, technical excellence and an uncompromising attention to detail.
DESDER’s connection with GT World Challenge began earlier this season, providing the independent watchmaker with a living environment in which to explore the many parallels between contemporary motorsport and independent watchmaking.
The collaboration also coincides with the international introduction of the DESDER 001, the brand’s debut timepiece. Designed and developed around DESDER’s distinctive interpretation of contemporary haute horlogerie, the watch reflects the same principles that have drawn the brand to motorsport through sophisticated engineering, craftsmanship, purposeful design and an obsession with performance.
The name DESDER comes from a word in Modena dialect that roughly means “wake up” or “get going.” It reflects the brand’s fundamental philosophy of a continual impulse to act, move forward and surpass limits.
The partnership will also form part of DESDER’s broader collaboration with SRO Motorsports Group as the brand continues to develop its presence across the GT World Challenge platform and explore new opportunities at the intersection of haute horlogerie and international motorsport.
