The action at Circuit of The Americas included an exhilarating milestone for the GT1 Sports Club powered by Hypercar, as they made their American debut. The prestigious event brought together an extraordinary assembly of hypercars in a non-competitive driving program, providing an opportunity to showcase the world’s ultimate supercars during the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS race weekend. It offered enthusiasts a unique opportunity to experience the pinnacle of automotive engineering first-hand.
Designed for hypercar owners, the GT1 Sports Club ensured that participants could drive their vehicles around one of the most famous race tracks in North America without the pressures of competition, with four track sessions occurring throughout the weekend. Additionally, on Monday, May 20th, hypercar owners will be treated to an exclusive private track day, offering additional track sessions tailored to them.
The weekend kicked off with a dazzling event held at Superstition on Friday evening, where hundreds gathered to witness the grand reveal of the highly anticipated Apollo 1/10. The atmosphere was electric as an impressive lineup of hypercars and race cars set the stage for a remarkable experience.
Saturday night was a glamorous affair, featuring a gala dinner that coincided with the debut Pirelli GT4 America Lonestar Enduro three-hour race. Guests enjoyed an elegant evening of fine dining and entertainment, with the sights and sounds of race cars serving as a perfect backdrop.
The entry list featured some of the most iconic and rare hypercars ever produced. Spectators in attendance were able to see the extraordinary machines in all their glory both on track, as well as a selection of cars on display in the open paddock, making it an unforgettable experience for all as they witnessed the convergence of speed, luxury, and engineering excellence.
