Mario Farnbacher and Ashton Harrison earned another podium in their Racers Edge Motorsports NSX GT3 Evo22 in Round 8 of the SRO GT World Challenge America series at Circuit of the Americas this Sunday, following their double-podium weekend at Circuit of the Americas.
Farnbacher started first in Pro and third overall on Sunday. He defended the Pro class lead for the entirety of his stint before handing the wheel over to Harrison. In the second half of Harrison’s stint, she fell to second in class, and took the NSX GT3 Evo22 to a podium finish. The team finished ahead of their primary rival on Sunday, improving their season standings amongst the drivers and teams.
Saturday started with Harrison sixth in Pro and 16th overall following a crash during qualifying, but Harrison rose to ninth overall by the end of her stint. Farnbacher suffered two separate tire punctures during his stint, hampering the team’s efforts to continue climbing the grid.
