As SRO Motorsports America continues to grow, it bolsters its staff to meet the needs of our customers. Over the off-season, the Marketing and Business Development, Competition, and Team Relations groups added new faces to their respective departments.
“We’re proud to continue to grow on track, and with that growth comes the addition of new talent,” said President and CEO of SRO Motorsports America Greg Gill. “I believe a firm measure of our success is seen in the people we retain and new hires we add. There is an art to building a team that works well together, and I think our competitors and partners notice the work we put into building the community around them. I look forward to seeing all the goals we accomplish this year.”
To enhance SRO America’s Competition department, new additions have been made, naming two new Race Directors and a new Steward.
John Maesky: He becomes acting Race Director for Fanatec GT World Challenge presented by AWS. Maesky has been a sitting race director for 13 race seasons in total. This position is a new role from his previous title as Clerk of the Course in 2021. He currently resides in Bradenton, Florida, and though he is a Denver Broncos fan, he’ll support his Philadelphia friends and root for the Eagles to win the Super Bowl.
Morgan Healey: She takes on new territory as Race Director for the Toyota GR Cup North America. Healey is brought to her new position after acting as Race Control Communicator in 2022. Healey will travel from her home base in Bradenton, Florida, and is betting the Philadelphia Eagles fly to Super Bowl win.
Phil “Coy” Arbour: A fixture in the racing community will now become a steward for SRO Motorsports America. This is Coy’s first outing as a steward, but he brings a host of experience from various roles, including but not limited to crew chief, car chief, and manager. While Coy prefers a more nomadic lifestyle, he hails from Canada; on Super Bowl Sunday, he’ll be hoping the best team wins.
Maesky and Healey will join a few familiar faces, with Brian Till returning for Pirelli GT4 America and GT America powered by AWS. Along with John Fergus as the TC America powered by Skip Barber Race Director. Meanwhile, Arbour teams with returning Stewards John Walsh, Peter Cunningham, and Elliot Forbes-Robinson.
In the Marketing and Business Development side, Natasha Masterson, Senior Manager of Marketing and Business Development, and Taylor Bedell, Marketing and Communication Manager, return as full-time staff to continue their roles after a record year in growth from both sectors. Lindsay Lindsey is brought on to lead public relations as Press Officer.
Natasha Masterson: She becomes a senior manager full-time with SRO Motorsports America after acting as manager during her 2022 contract year. Masterson brought seven years of experience to her role and continues to grow. Masterson hails from Austin, Texas, and will be looking for a race on Super Bowl Sunday.
Taylor Bedell: The Digital Marketing Manager becomes the Marketing and Communication Manager after her 2022 contract year. Bedell has worked in motorsports for eight years but has a lifetime of experience, having grown up at racetracks with family who work in the industry. Bedell currently resides in Columbus, Ohio, and is confident she’s cheering for the East High Wild Cats.
Lindsay Lindsey: The Press Officer role is new to Lindsey, but the work is not. Lindsey brings 10 years of marketing and public relations experience to the team. This is her first year working alongside the staff at SRO Motorsports America after spending time in the IMSA and INDYCAR paddocks. She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is pulling for the San Francisco 49ers to make a Super Bowl appearance after living in Dallas, Texas.
The 2023 season kicks off on the Streets of St. Petersburg with the GT America presented by AWS joining the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg weekend, March 3-5. All five championships will be at Sonoma Raceway from March 30 through April 2. Watch the races live on the GT World YouTube page or join us on Twitch by following SRO Motorsports.
