Austin, TX – Colin Braun driving the #04 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 was quickest in Friday afternoon’s 60-minute GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS practice session at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).
Braun, sharing driving duties with George Kurtz, posted a 2:04.547 to top the charts. In the Silver category, Trent Hindman in the #93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 again posted the quickest time in class with a 2:05.623 – good for 7th overall on the charts. Hindman is sharing driving duties with teammate Shelby Blackstock.
In the Am category, Max Root, for the second straight session, posted the fastest time in class (2:06.358) behind the wheel of the #20 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R. Root is paired with San Antonio native Fred Poordad.
