Pre-Qualifying Results
In Pre-Qualifying on Friday morning, the final 90-minute session prior to this evening's Qualifying, it was once again the No. 64 Chicago Performance and Tuning Co. Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 that went quickest overall after doing so the day prior in Free Practice. With a best time of 1:23.759, Nicolai Elghanayan, Mads Siljehaug, and Loris Spinelli once again set the benchmark and have marked themselves as the team to beat.
Dollahite Racing put in another strong performance, as the No. 6 Ford Mustang GT3 EVO of Scott Dollahite, Alex Sedgwick, and Christopher Mies concluded the session in second place, moving up one spot from third in yesterday evening's running.
Porsche proved that the manufacturer has a strong package heading into the DESDER Indianapolis 8 Hour, with the remaining positions in the top 5 occupied by the German marque. McCann Racing put up the third quickest time in the No. 8 Porsche 911 GT3-R (992) EVO entry of Michael McCann Jr., Zachary Vanier, and Alessio Picariello. GMG Racing followed in fourth with Kyle Washington, Riccardo Pera, and Ayhancan Guven, just ahead of Wright Motorsports' Dave Musial Jr, Ryan Yardley, and Laurin Heinrich in the No. 31 machine.
