Provisional Practice 1 Results
The GT World Challenge America powered by AWS field ended off the Friday on-track action at Sebring International Raceway with their first official practice session of the weekend, putting in laps over the bumps as the sun began to set over the Florida circuit. As the hour of running came to a close, it was the No. 88 Kellymoss Porsche 911 GT3-R (992) EVO of John Gilliland and Loek Hartog that went quickest overall with a time of 2:01.060. Pro class championship leaders JMF Motorsports clocked in the second quickest time with the No. 34 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO driven by Michai Stephens and Mikael Grenier. Third place was occupied by the No. 50 Chouest Povoledo Racing Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Ross Chouest and Aaron Povoledo, while Tom Sargent went fourth-fastest in the No. 32 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R (992) EVO he shares with teammate Kyle Washington. The top 5 was completed by Florida-based team TR3 Racing, with Daniel Morad and Brayton Williams staying well within range with their No. 9 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.
