GT World Challenge America powered by AWS continues its 2026 campaign in the Lone Star State at Circuit of The Americas for CieloVision GT World Texas powered by Samsung, marking the second round of the season and SRO America’s home race. Following an action-packed season opener at Sonoma Raceway, teams now shift their focus to Austin, where the championship’s momentum meets one of North America’s most iconic and demanding circuits.
With the debut of the three-hour race format already delivering excitement in the opening round, the stage is set for another intense weekend of GT3 competition. Nine premier manufacturers return to the grid, each chasing valuable championship points as early-season storylines begin to take shape in what is already proving to be a highly competitive year.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin joins the grid at COTA with Rebel Rock Racing making its GT World Challenge America debut. The No. 71 Vantage AMR GT3 EVO, driven by Robin Liddell and Frank Depew, marks a new chapter for both the team and pairing as they step into GT3 competition for the first time.

BMW
BMW heads to Texas looking to rebound after a challenging weekend at Sonoma. With new driver pairings continuing to build chemistry, the trio of entries will aim to unlock more performance at COTA.
Riley Motorsports returns with Slade Stewart and Andy Lee in Pro-Am competition, while Turner Motorsport continues its transition into the Pro class with Justin Rothberg and Robby Foley. Random Vandals Racing rounds out the BMW lineup, with Derek DeBoer and Hampus Ericsson continuing their new partnership.

Ferrari
AF Corse USA and the Ferrari platform had a strong start to the season in Sonoma, and will be looking to carry that momentum forward as they make their way to Austin, Texas. The Pro entry of Matías Pérez Companc and Frederik Schandorff earned a podium finish on debut in the No. 12 Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO, while reigning Am class champions Jay Schreibman and Oswaldo Negri took an uncontested Am class victory in their No. 163 machine.
Additionally, a third Ferrari will be joining the grid at COTA with the likes of Sebastian Mascaro and Riccardo Agostini sharing the No. 18 entry in the Pro-Am class.

Ford
Dollahite Racing carries strong momentum into COTA after a podium finish in the opening round at Sonoma. Cameron Lawrence and Alex Sedgwick secured third place in Pro class competition, marking an impressive start to their campaign with the Ford Mustang GT3. Now firmly established in the Pro ranks after debuting the program in the Am category last season, the team will look to build on that performance as they head to Texas.

McLaren
Archangel Motorsports continues its McLaren program with the 720S GT3 EVO, returning to the grid with Todd Coleman and Aaron Telitz in Pro-Am competition. After steady progress throughout last season, the team aims to translate that experience into strong results as the championship unfolds.

Mercedes-AMG
Mercedes-AMG enters COTA at the top of the global GT World Challenge manufacturers standings, bolstered by a strong performance in the season opener. JMF Motorsports set the tone early, with Michai Stephens and Mikael Grenier claiming victory in the Pro class at Sonoma. The team returns with both of its entries, while TR3 Racing introduces a revised driver pairing, as Daniel Morad joins Brayton Williams for the Texas round. MAD Joker by Lone Star Racing also joins the grid, further strengthening the Mercedes-AMG presence at the team’s home event.

Porsche
Porsche proved to be a major force in the Pro-Am category at Sonoma and will be looking to replicate that performance as it arrives at COTA. Kyle Washington and Tom Sargent delivered a dominant class victory for GMG Racing, while the Wright Motorsports duo of Dave Musial Jr. and Ryan Yardley impressed with a podium finish in their series debut. RS1’s Juan Martinez and Jan Heylen completed an all-Porsche Pro-Am podium, underlining the strength of the platform.
With a deep lineup of entries returning for the second round, Porsche teams will be aiming to replicate that success and continue their early-season form.
