THERMAL, CA – The first of three SRO America Winter Invitational at The Thermal Club weekends has kicked off at The Thermal Club racing facility in Southern California. Designed for Bronze level drivers seeking seat time and racing experience, the three-event series offers an excellent introduction to SRO’s various series including GT World Challenge, GT Sports Club, Pirelli GT4 America, and TC America.
Running December 13 to 15, teams and drivers will compete across GT Sports Club (GT3, GT2), GT4 and Touring Car (TCR, TC, TCA) classes on the facility’s 2.5-mile configuration. Several SRO America teams have brought a contingent of cars to the event including GMG Racing, Rearden Racing, US RaceTronics, DXDT Racing, Compass Racing, Auto Technic Racing, Classic BMW Racing and KPR Racing.
Round 2 is scheduled for January 17-19, 2020 utilizing the facility’s 3.1-mile configuration, while the season finale is set for February 7-9, on the 4-mile configuration.
