JMF Motorsports Returns to GT World Challenge America in 2026

The season is drawing near, and JMF Motorsports will return to the GT World Challenge America series. Joining the PRO Class again will be a stellar pairing of Canadian Mercedes-AMG Factory Driver, and recent Bathurst 12 Hour Champion, Mikael Grenier, joined by longtime JMF Team Driver Michai Stephens.

“I am excited to announce our return to GT3” said President John Farrow. “We had great success in 2025, and we are targeting the PRO championship win in 2026!”

The STAHLWILLE Tools sponsored #34 Mercedes-AMG took 2nd in the 2025 PRO Championship with an impressive 4 wins, and a total of 11 podium finishes. Mik and Michai are planning on challenging for the top step of the PRO Class podium for 2026.

“We are excited for the 2026 season,” said CEO Danny Kok. “Mik and Michai will be strong contenders in the PRO Class, and we are looking forward getting back to racing and starting the season off at Sonoma!"

The 2026 SRO GT World Challenge America championship is seeing an evolution for 2026. Instead of the 2 x 90-minute races on Saturday and Sunday, it will now become one 3-Hour feature race on Sunday afternoons. The format of the season finale remains the same, however, with the Indianapolis 8 Hour race in conjunction with the Intercontinental GT Challenge series. All races will stream live qualifying and races on the GTWorld YouTube channel as well as on the GT World Challenge website. The SRO America season kicks off for the first race weekend of the year from March 27-29 in Sonoma, California.
