The Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS returns to the Racing Capital of the World from October 16th-18th, bringing together the best talents on the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS and the Intercontinental GT Challenge grids. The event has quickly become a cornerstone of the global GT racing calendar, attracting world-class teams, legendary manufacturers, and international drivers to one of the most iconic venues in all of motorsports.
The Indy 8 Hour offers a rare spectacle that begins in the daytime before racing deep into the night under the lights of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With championships still on the line and valuable points at stake for teams and manufacturers, this year’s entry list showcases a diverse and competitive field ready to fight for glory on a global stage.
BMW, Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes-AMG are all eligible to score points towards the Intercontinental GT Challenge championship, meaning that 21 entries will be in the mix as they seek to be the dominant manufacturer. Following coveted rounds across the world, including the Bathurst 12 Hour, the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, and the Suzuka 1000km, the outcome of this international battle will all come down to the final 8 hours of GT racing on the calendar at the Brickyard.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin is represented with two strong entries, headlined by Racers Edge Motorsports, who have a technical partnership with the British marque, and the Heart of Racing Team, continuing their longstanding relationship with the brand. Both squads bring a mix of proven pace and experience, with their Vantage AMR GT3 EVOs set to challenge for success.

BMW
BMW arrives in force with five entries from a mix of international and U.S.-based teams. The brand’s M4 GT3 EVO will be campaigned by Turner Motorsport, Team WRT, and Random Vandals Racing, each with the potential and pedigree to factor at the front. Notably, both Turner Motorsport and Random Vandals Racing are the respective leaders in the Pro-Am and Pro class standings, looking to seal the deal and clinch the title.

Chevrolet
Chevrolet’s Corvette Z06 GT3.R continues its 2025 campaign with a pair of entries, fielded by DXDT Racing and Chouest Povoledo Racing, with the former in hot pursuit of a championship crown as they chase down their title rivals in the Pro-Am class.

Ferrari
Ferrari brings two 296 GT3 entries under the AF Corse USA banner. The Prancing Horse, known worldwide for its history of success and prestige, will look to leave its mark at Indianapolis with proven drivers and strong technical support.

Ford
Dollahite Racing leads the Ford effort as the lone Mustang GT3 in the field. The team continues to gain momentum as the iconic American muscle takes on one of its biggest tests of the year. Following the doubleheader at Barber Motorsports Park, they moved back into the lead of the Am class standings and now are aiming to get the job done in Indianapolis.

McLaren
Archangel Motorsports carries the flag for McLaren with its 720S GT3 EVO. The team has shown flashes of speed throughout the season and now turns its focus to the ultimate challenge of eight hours at IMS.

With such a strong field, with some teams even boasting double entries, expect the 992 GT3 R to be on the hunt at the front.
