The Heart of Racing is a program that has achieved significant recognition on a global scale, with the team competing, and succeeding, in the most prestigious sports car racing series worldwide. They have had a strong presence within SRO America, accumulating victories and podium finishes in both the Pirelli GT4 America and the GT America powered by AWS championships. As they look ahead to 2025, they are continuing to expand their involvement as they raise the bar, joining the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS field.
The step up to GT3 machinery is not new territory for the Heart of Racing Team, but it marks an important milestone for the group as they prepare to compete in the feature series, equipped with their Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO.
They will also remain active in Pirelli GT4 America with one entry. Last season, they hit the ground running with two cars, with Roman DeAngelis and Gray Newell securing two wins and four podiums, while Hannah Grisham and Hannah Greenemeier scored one victory and four podiums.
“We are excited to join the GT World Challenge America grid,” said Team Owner Ian James. “This is a natural progression for us as we compete in other GT3 based categories, and growing to this championship helps us continue our ladder from GT4 racing to competing at the top level of sports car classes. We are embracing this new challenge and are also fully committed to delivering our best in both GT World Challenge America and Pirelli GT4 America.”
The complete driver lineups will be confirmed at a later date.
