DXDT Racing is proud to announce that Bryan Sellers will be taking on an expanded role as Program Manager with the team. Sellers, who has spent the last three seasons racing with DXDT in GT World Challenge America, will be leaving his role with Paul Miller Racing—where he won two IMSA GTD championships—to join DXDT full-time following next weekend’s Petit Le Mans.
“I’m so excited to join DXDT full-time as Program Manager,” expressed Sellers. “This role allows me to continue driving at a high level while also allowing me to explore other endeavors on the business side of the sport. During the 2024 season I have been integrating into this role alongside David [Askew, Team Owner] and Erin [Gahagan, General Manager] and I’m excited to build on the success we have already seen this season.”
Sellers leaves Paul Miller Racing having been a part of one of the most successful driving pairs in IMSA GTD history. Together with Madison Snow, they captured 13 wins (of Sellers’ 20 in IMSA) and 37 podiums (50 in IMSA). As part of his new role, Sellers will continue to drive in GT World Challenge America competition, where he added another 2 victories to his collection this season at VIR and Road America. However, this role allows him an opportunity to focus on racing in a way that extends beyond the cockpit.
“I love the inner workings of racing programs, and it is something I have taken a lot of pride in learning about over the past 20-plus years. While I’m sad to be stepping away from the race team I have called home for nearly a decade at Paul Miller Racing—and I want to extend my gratitude to everyone there for their friendship and hard work—I am very grateful for this new opportunity with DXDT and beyond excited to get to work.”
Askew says the effect that Sellers has had on him and the team since joining in 2022 made bringing him on in an official capacity a no-brainer.
“DXDT Racing has changed and grown a lot since Bryan joined the team, and much of that has to do with him. He’s one of the quickest drivers out there, but even more importantly, he knows and understands this business like the back of his hand. I’ve gone to Bryan for advice on numerous occasions, and his knowledge and opinions have been invaluable as we’ve grown our operation. With the team bigger than ever and taking on new challenges this year and in the future, it just made too much sense to bring him in-house in this Program Manager role. I’m so excited about what this means for our race team, and I know between him and Erin, we’re in great hands.”
Sellers and the team are excited to close out the season on a high this weekend at the Racing Capital of the World, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. You can catch him behind the wheel of the No. 64 KÜHL Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R at the Indianapolis 8 Hour, the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS season finale.
