Turner Motorsport Drivers Dinan and Foley Win at Road America

Newton, NH - Turner Motorsport drivers Michael Dinan and Robby Foley reached the top of the Fanatec GT World Challenge podium with a Round Eight victory today at Road America.

Foley started the two-hour contest for GT3 machinery from GT3 Pro pole position and charged forward to pit from the lead and hand off to Dinan. Dinan ran a strong closing stint, taking over the lead in the final minutes to score his first GT3 class win and the first win of the season for the No. 96 Liqui-Moly/H & R Springs BMW M6 GT3. The pair finished fourth in yesterday’s Round Seven contest.

“Everyone on the team executed perfectly this weekend,” said Will Turner, Team Principal. “We’ve been getting stronger all season and are delighted to get our first World Challenge win this season as well as Michael’s first GT3 victory.”

“It was a tough, hot, race, but we got it done today”, stated Dinan. “Road America is one of my favorite circuits so I could not be happier to get my very first GT3 win here. My thanks to everyone at Turner Motorsport for a great effort all weekend.”

Foley added, “We had a very quick BMW M6 today as well as a team that worked just as fast all race long. I’m already looking forward to the next two rounds at Watkins Glen.”

The GT World Challenge returns to competition at Watkins Glen International for Rounds 9 and 10 on September 17 – 19.
