Race 2 Grid Report: Wright Motorsports and CrowdStrike by Riley Lock Out the Front Row

The Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS field will conclude the Sonoma Raceway Protected by CrowdStrike season opener round today at 2:15 PM PDT.

Starting Grid Overview:

The starting order for Race 2 has shuffled in comparison to Race 1’s starting grid. This time around, Race 1 winner Elliott Skeer will command his No. 120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 992 GT3 R to the green flag, while his teammate Adam Adelson is set to take over for the final stretch of the race.

Starting second on the grid will be Race 1 Pro-Am winner George Kurtz in his No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3. The pairing will present a strong challenge for the overall and Pro-Am Class win. The Pro-Am Class entries of Neil Verhagen and Samantha Tan in the No. 38 BMW M4 GT3 will start from the second row, alongside the No. 08 DXDT Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Bryan Sellers and Scott Smithson, with both pairings in contention to be able to fight for the overall and class win.

The No. 29 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 machine of Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg will round off the Top 5.
