Despite facing an early setback, our spirits remain undeterred, and we are eager to start our weekend festivities.
SRO America extends their thanks to the team at Sonoma Raceway for their prompt and effective efforts in repairing the pavement, ensuring that the race continues for teams, drivers, and fans.
The track action is set to commence this Saturday, with Practice 2 scheduled at 10:15 AM PDT. This 60-minute session is crucial for teams and drivers to fine-tune their machines, but also set their fastest laps.
The best times from each driver during Practice 2 will determine the grid positions for Race 1 and Race 2, respectively. It will be important for both drivers to set a lap time during the sole practice session.
