Zach Veach and Luca Mars join Racers Edge Motorsports for the 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS season to campaign the No. 93 Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 for the team’s fifth year racing with the Acura platform. Veach and Mars will compete in the GT3 Pro class, with Veach as a gold rated driver and Mars holding a silver rating.  With three SRO GT3 championship titles and two 2nd place results since 2019, Racers Edge Motorsports head into the new season with another championship in sight.

Zach Veach has an outstanding resume in both open wheel and sports car racing, climbing the Road to Indy series ladder, earning success at every level. He made his Indianapolis 500 debut in 2017, his first of four experiences in the iconic race. Veach also is familiar with Honda Racing Corporation US, driving Honda machinery during his four seasons in the NTT IndyCar series. After his first foray into the sports car world in 2015 in a PC class car, Veach competed in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the GTD class in 2021. The accomplished racer is also an author, app creator, and strong advocate against distracted driving.

Veach will bring his extensive racing experience to the Acura NSX and the SRO America paddock this season. "I’m extremely excited to be joining Racers Edge Motorsports this season in the GT World Challenge America championship. After spending the last couple of years working on sim development, I’m really looking forward to being back trackside and competing again with the HRC family,” Veach stated. “This opportunity wouldn’t be possible for me without my partners 3I Enterprises, as well as Social Spark. Together with Luca Mars, we’ll be fighting to bring the team their 4th championship victory!"

18-year old Luca Mars has already built the foundation for an impressive career in sports car racing after his rookie season in the MX-5 Cup Championship in 2021. Mars returns to the Acura machine and Racers Edge Motorsports after graduating from the team-facilitated HPD Driver Academy in 2022. In that same year, Mars made his GT sports car racing debut at the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, earning two podium finishes in 2022 and one in 2023 in GT machinery. The young driver has taken the wheel in multiple sports car series over the past three years and is fresh off a string of victories at Daytona International Speedway and the St. Petersburg street course.

Mars will make his first GT3 start at Sonoma Raceway in two weeks. “I’m super excited to get to work with Zach Veach and the Racers Edge Motorsports team this year in SRO. I’m looking forward to starting my GT3 career with this group. I know that Zach is a driver with a lot of experience and I’ve worked with the Racers Edge group before, so I know what they are capable of, know that we will be able to push for the championship and get good results.”

Racers Edge Motorsports continues to work with Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) who will provide technical and trackside support in 2024 for the Acura NSX GT3 Evo22.

The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS begins April 5 -7 at Sonoma Raceway with the same race format as last season: two 90-minute races in each of the seven weekend events, with two drivers sharing designated time in the car. The season will culminate once again at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the 3-hour finale included in the IGTC Indy 8Hr race.
