2023 proved to be very successful for the GT1 Sports Club by Curbstone, and the 2024 season promises to be even more impressive. On world-famous circuits, Curbstone’s driver programme for track-designed hyper and super track cars will enjoy the presence of some of the most prestigious manufacturers, bringing iconic machinery.
The GT1 Sports Club powered by Curbstone is a unique driving program for hyper and supercars of the GT1 category. Its events boast impressive car collections on some of the most impressive racetracks around the world. They are a perfect blend of driving and exposition, and with an elite atmosphere, they form a unique opportunity for owners and enthusiasts of hyper and supercars to share their passion and fully savour some incredible machinery. In 2024, long-term manufacturer partners will be joined by a series of breath-taking newcomers.
The 2024 season starts with a premiere: for the first time in history, the GT1 Sports Club by Curbstone travels to the United States. Between May 18th and 20th the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas will host the season opener, as part of the Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS round. There will be an exceptional show at the Texan track, for it is the first time GT1 cars will race the 5.513 km circuit.
Next up is the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, on the last weekend of June. The world's toughest GT race will celebrate its centenary in 2024, and the GT1 Sports Club will play an important role in the festivities. The GT1 Sports Club is playing an important role in the festivities, including a breath-taking exhibition in its GT1 Village, located in the heart of the paddock. The GT1 Sports Club program also announce a full grid during the two final rounds of its season at the Nürburgring last weekend of July and in Barcelona mid-October. The show promises to be spectacular once again.
This year, the hyper and -super track car driving program returns even stronger with the confirmation of long-term partners such as Pagani's Arte in Pista program, who were spectacularly present for the last two years and continue their collaboration with Curbstone Events program. Other European brands will also be back, including Praga with their Bohema, the street legal hypercar which made its mark at last year's Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa. Apollo will shine again with their gorgeous Intenza Emozione and De Tomaso with their elegant P72 and P900. The Italian brand Isotta Fraschini will also join the GT1 Sports Club program with their Tipo 6 LMH C, newly entered in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024.
Several new well-known brands have also chosen to join the program this year and take part in events that have become unmissable in the world of hypercars. GT1 Sports Club is pleased to announce the arrival of Mercedes AMG with their new AMG One and their GT2 PRO in their GT1 Village and on track. The famous British manufacturer Gordon Murray also decided to join the program to show the world their new T50S. McLaren fans will also be delighted to learn that some Solus, Senna GTR and GT3 X will be running in GT1 sessions during this year's rounds of the Fanatec GT World Challenge. GT1 Sports Club also welcome some American brand this year such as SSC North America with their Tuatara Striker and major brand Glickenhauss. The 777 Hypercar will officialy enter the GT1 Sports Club line-up following their launch in UAE mid-december also with Curbstone Events.
The presence of all these brands confirms the echoes around the GT1 Sports Club program, which continues to grow year on year, and whose spectacle is ever more incredible and exciting. To continue its development, the GT1 Sport Club welcomes Shmee150 to all these rounds and begins its collaboration with Supercar Owner Circles, to take its off-track services to another level and provide the best possible support for participants. This program is designed to welcome builders, dealers and owners of hyper and super track cars in the safest and most comfortable way possible during and after GT World Challenge race weekends.
