The Texas Two-Step GT Style: SRO Motorsports America and COTA

Hold your horses. SRO Motorsports America is bringing Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, GT America powered by AWS, Toyota GR Cup, Pirelli GT4 America and TC America powered by Skip Barber to Circuit Of The Americas. The race weekend is one of the biggest events south of the Mason-Dixon to take place Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21. We can guarantee that whatever you’re fixin’ to get into is on hand to be had at COTA.

Up Close and Personal
Mosey on into the open paddock. The bustling of race cars, the mecca of international motorsports and the sweet smell of BBQ create a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can approach team garages and watch as teams tune Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin, Porsche, Toyota and Ferrari race cars. On Sunday, you can feel like you’re part of the action by joining the grid walk immediately before Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS Race Two. The grid walks put fans in the mix with cars, crews and officials.

Autograph sessions are scheduled through the weekend for fans to meet the drivers themselves and receive a free SRO America poster. The Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS and GT America powered by AWS take place on Saturday, May 20 at 1 p.m. CT alongside TC America powered by Skip Barber. The Pirelli GT4 America series takes place later that day at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m. GT America powered by AWS pairs with the Toyota GR Cup North America for the final autograph sessions of the weekend.

GT Cantina
All hat, no cattle? Not this GT Paddock Club. A cavalcade of tasty treats and drinks is on hand throughout the day for those who join in the chic happening. Adults and kids can take five inside the comfortable, air-conditioned paddock lofts. The state-of-the-art Formula 1 building is home to the GT Paddock Club at Circuit Of The Americas. The social point is located above the team garages making for a great view along with a great atmosphere.

Out to the Ole Racetrack
The 20-turn, 3.41-mile circuit is the only purpose-built FIA Formula 1 track in the United States. Drivers experience a 130 ft elevation change as they negotiate the flowing corners and long straightaways. The paddock is split into two levels with nearly 200 cars occupying both the lower and upper areas.

There’s so much more to COTA than the racing alone. Get a bird's eye view of the circuit at the Germania Amphitheater tower. Try your own hand behind the wheel with COTA Karting. Eat, sleep and breathe racing by camping at COTA. If that strikes your fancy and you’re finding it hard to leave the track why not also take a tour of the new COTA car condos?
