Sebring, Florida - Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS continued along as scheduled at Sebring International Raceway, two weeks before the season finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The field laid down their final practice laps before qualifying tomorrow morning, which slowed down a tad in the afternoon due to hotter ambient temperatures. The session generally ran smooth during its entire duration, with only a brief red flag at its end due to tow-in for a stranded vehicle. Time will tell if potential stormy weather will be a factor tomorrow morning.

In Pro, Turner Motorsport driver Robby Foley clocked in the fastest lap of the hour-long combined session with a 2:00.524, behind the wheel of the #96 BMW M4 GT3 that he shares with Michael Dinan. The next-fastest Pro car was the #3 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 driven by Jordan Pepper with a 2:00.775, followed by its sister #1 car driven by Andrea Caldarelli with a 2:01.558.  The K-PAX Racing team is hoping to clinch the championship this weekend before the Indy 8-Hour finale.

In Pro-Am, the Ferraris claimed the fastest laps in class, with the #34 Conquest Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 laying down a 2:00.030 while driven by Alessandro Balzan. This was also the fastest overall lap of the session. Next up was the #13 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3 driven by Ryan Dalziel with a 2:00.570, followed by Dirk Muller setting a 2:01.112 in his #63 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.  The Pro-Am class has been especially fierce this season with three teams, Wright Motorsports, Racers Edge Motorsports, and CrowdStrike w/ Riley Motorsports locked in a tight battle for the championship.

Finally, Charlie Scardina drove the sole Am Ferrari entry to a 2:01.914 behind the wheel of the #23 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3.  The Triarsi team has already clinched the Am championship.

Qualifying begins tomorrow at 9:00 AM, followed by Race 1 at 2:15 PM.
