K-PAX Fastest in Pro, BimmerWorld Atop Pro-Am In Preparation For Road America Weekend

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin - Central Wisconsin’s Road America experienced light showers and cooler temperatures as Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS took to its historic, high-speed Midwestern tarmac.

In Pro, multiple 2022 race winner Jordan Pepper clocked in the fastest lap of the hour-long combined session with a 2:22.395, behind the wheel of the #3 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 that he shares with Misha Goikhberg. The next-fastest Pro car was the #6 US RaceTronics Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Loris Spinelli with a 2:23.223, followed by Philip Ellis in the #33 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 laying down a 2:24.694.

In Pro-Am, World Challenge veteran Bill Auberlen claimed the quickest overall lap of 2:22.188 in his #94 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT3, followed by Mario Farnbacher in the #93 Racers Edge Motorsports with a 2:23.367, and Bryan Sellers laying down a 2:23.724 in his #08 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Finally, fresh off a race win in GT America powered by AWS at Nashville, Onofrio Triarsi drove the sole Am Ferrari entry to a 2:32.540 behind the wheel of the #23 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3, followed by Kyle Washington in the #032 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R (991.ii) with a 2:33.539.

Practice 2 starts at 3:15 PM (Central) this afternoon. Qualifying begins tomorrow at 9:00 AM, followed by Race 1 at 2:15 PM.
