K-PAX Racing Nabs Race 1 Pole Position, US Racetronics Claims Top Spot For Race 2

Avondale, Louisiana - Saturday morning saw clear skies as the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS racers set out to qualify for the Saturday afternoon race. Later this afternoon, the grid will head out to compete on NOLA for the very first time, marking an exciting new chapter in international professional sports car racing.

Race 1 Qualifying

Among those competing in the Pro class, the #1 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (Michele Beretta/Andrea Caldarelli) grabbed the top spot with a 1:34.096, followed by the #6 US Racetronics Mercedes-AMG GT3 (Steve Aghakhani/Loris Spinelli), and finally the #3 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (Misha Goikhberg/Jordan Pepper).

Pro-Am saw the tightest lap times at the top, with the #93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 (Ashton Harrison/Mario Farnbacher) leading the way with a 1:35.402, then the #94 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT3 (Chandler Hull/Bill Auberlen) starting second, and the #08 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 (Scott Smithson/Bryan Sellers) starting in third.

The Am field finished with the #23 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3 (Charlie Scardina/Onofrio Triarsi) at the top after laying down a 1:36.355, with the #61 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 (Jean-Claude Saada/Conrad Grunewald) right behind.

Race 2 Qualifying

For Race 2, a few spots are traded among the quickest in the field.

Among the Pro’s, the #6 US Racetronics Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 (Steve Aghakhani/Loris Spinelli) will sit in P1 after laying down a 1:32.501, followed by the #1 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (Michele Beretta/Andrea Caldarelli) and the other K-PAX entry, the #3 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (Misha Goikhberg/Jordan Pepper)

Pro-Am will see the #9 TR3 Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (Ziad Ghandour/Giacomo Altoe) in the top spot after setting a 1:33.290, followed by the #08 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 (Scott Smithson/Bryan Sellers) and #04 CrowdStrike Racing by Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 (George Kurtz/Colin Braun).

The Am lineup mirrors Race 1, with the #23 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3 (Charlie Scardina/Onofrio Triarsi) followed by the #61 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 (Jean-Claude Saada/Conrad Grunewald).

Race 1 begins at 1:15 PM CST, followed by Race 2 at 1:15 PM on Sunday.
