Avondale, Louisiana - The 2022 Season of the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Presented by AWS continued at a new venue for the series, with rounds three and four taking place in a hot and humid NOLA Motorsports Park. 

In Pro, #1, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 K-Pax Racing driven by Andrea Caldaerelli led the field overall as well with the fastest time of 1:34.248. Not far off the pace was the #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3 US Racetronics who recorded a lap time of 1:34.341 by driver Loris Spinelli, followed by the #96 BMW M4 GT3 Turner Motorsport piloted by Robby Foley with a time of 1:34.725.

The Pro/Am class was led by the #9, Lamborghini Huracan GT 3 driven by Giacomo Altoe with the fastest lap time of 1:34.554. Turning in a second fastest time in class was the #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Crowdstrike Racing by Riley Motorsports with a map time of 1:34.855 with Colin Braun behind the wheel. He was followed by #94, BMW M4 GT3 Bimmerworld Bill Auberlen who recorded a 1:34.884.

In AM, the fastest lap time was laid down by #23, Ferrari 488 GT3 Triarsi Competizione with Ryan Dalziel at the wheel. 

Practice sessions continue for the GTWCA series at 3:35 p.m CST. Qualifying for the weekend will take place on Saturday, May 21 at 8:35 a.m. starting with Driver 1 followed immediately by the Driver 2 qualifying session.
