Pepper, Caldarelli Capture Poles for K-PAX Racing, Lamborghini at Watkins Glen Double-Header

Watkins Glen, NY - With qualifying sessions for the weekend complete, the grids are set for the double-header weekend at Watkins Glen. For Race 1, K-PAX Racing's Jordan Pepper will lead the field from P1 in the #3 Lamborghini Huracan GT3, while Sunday's contest will have Pepper's co-driver Andrea Caldarelli starting from the top spot.

Pepper's qualifying pace earned him the top spot, navigating the course at 1-minute, 46.618-seconds. K-PAX Racing teammate Corey Lewis will help the team lock out the front row with a 1:47.251 qualifier that was good enough for second place. The second row will see Michael Dinan (#96 Turner Motorsports BMW F13 M6 GT3) in P3 with his 1:47.522 qualifying lap slotted next to Russell Ward (#33 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3).

Erin Vogel (#19 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3) earned the top spot for the Pro-Am class with a 1-minute, 51.104-second burner that will have her lead the competitive class at the start of Race 1. Jason Harward's (#88 Zelus Motorsport Lamborghini) 1-minute, 51.146-second lap, just a few hundredths behind Vogel, will lead start in the class' P2.

Jean-Claude Saada will lead the Am class in the #61 AF Corse Ferrari 388 GT3 in front of Bill Sweedler in the #10 TR3 Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

Sunday's Race 2 contest will see Andrea Caldarelli in P1 for the Pro class. Jan Heylen's 1:44.689 lap in the #20 Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) will see him in the top spot for the Pro-Am contingent, while AF Corse teammate John Megrue will lead the Am competitors.
