Michael de Quesada Joins Daniel Morad in Alegra Pro-Pro Entry into Blancpain GT World Challenge

A last-minute decision by Alegra Motorsports will see Michael de Quesada jump into the driver seat alongside Daniel Morad in the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge America.

Alegra had announced the original duo in their Pro-AM effort of Carlos de Quesada and Daniel Morad in a brand new 2019 Porsche GT3R. With Michael fresh off a successful Carrera Cup run, team principal Carlos de Quesada decided to give his seat to Michael moving Alegra’s second entry in the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge into the Pro-Pro category.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to take on this challenge.” said Michael. “It’s going to be great driving with Dan again.” Michael and Dan were a part of Alegra’s 2017 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona win and shared the seat in several races through the 2017 IMSA Weather Tech Series Championship.

The duo is looking forward to driving alongside the sister 2019 GT3R piloted by veterans Wolf Henzler and Marco Holzer.
