Elkhart Lake, Wisc. - Under partly cloudy skies, Lamborghini and Acura have taken the Pole Positions for the GT World Challenge America return to racing at Road America, with K-PAX Racing Driver Andrea Caldarelli starting in front for Saturday's Race 1 and Racers Edge Motorsports Dakota Dickerson in front of the field in Race 2.

In the Qualifying Group 1 session, Caldarelli took the #3 Lamborghini through its 2-minute, 7.102-second circuit of the track late in the session to capture the pole. Slotting into P2 for Sunday's race is Russell Ward, having run a 2:07.494 lap in the #33 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3. The second row of the grid will be filled with Pro class competitors Michael Dinan (#96 Turner Motorsports BMW F13 M6 GT3) and K-PAX teammate Giovanni Venturini in the sister-car #6 Lamborghini.

Am challenger Conrad Grunewald (#61 Ferrari 488 GT3) will take the third row on the grid and lead the Am contingent, while Michael Di Meo's qualifying run in the #77 Compass Racing Acura NSX GT3 will put him in the top spot of the Pro-Am class.

For Sunday's Race 2, Dickerson's 2:05.925 pole-winning run will see him slot next to another Pro-Am class competitor, Jan Heylen, who will start the race in P2 in the Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2). Row two will see Pro class Turner Motorsports racer Robby Foley in the #96 BMW F13 M6 GT3 line up next to Philip Ellis in the #33 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Results are provisional until posted Final. The green flag drops for Race 1 at 1:15 pm CT on Friday.
