ASUS Republic of Gamers and TUF Gaming Named Official Hardware Partner of SRO GT Rivals Esports Invitational

This week, SRO Motorsports America announced GT Rivals, a weekly esports invitational where real world racers, sim racers, and invited guests go head-to-head in GT World Challenge powered by AWS’ official game - Assetto Corsa Competizione. To further expand its leading position in esports, ASUS Republic of Gamers and TUF Gaming brands have been named the Official Hardware Partner of the competition.

ASUS Republic of Gamers empowers present and future gamers, streamers and gaming talent with the tools they need to compete at their best. With the high demands of sim racing on gaming hardware, ROG is well positioned to set the pace in providing sim racers with leading performance, premium features, and stylish design from desktop gaming PCs to gaming monitors and everything in between. This includes top-notch ASUS ROG monitors that SRO America is using for an immersive sim racing experience, such as the ROG Strix XG49VQ with its ultra-wide 49-inch curved screen as well as a triple monitor set-up using the ROG Strix XG35VQ, combining three 35-inch displays into a whopping 105 inches of screen real estate.

More than just hardware, ROG has played an active role since 2006 in the global gaming community through partnerships at events and with gaming personalities and organizations, with the goal of fostering greater gaming experiences for all. ROG continues to engage with fans worldwide through sponsored events like Blizzcon, PAX, Dreamhack, ESPN’s EXP and ESL, and now GT Rivals. In addition, ROG also forged partnerships with top esports teams including SKT T1, Echo Fox, NRG, and NiP, and collaborations with collegiate and high school esports organizations like Tespa and HSEL.

In addition to ROG, the ASUS TUF Gaming brand offers hardware options to sim racers who demand superior durability, dependable stability and exceptional value in PC gaming. TUF Gaming has an extensive range of monitors, motherboards, laptop and desktop PCs, cases, keyboards, mice and headsets that embody these values, with many more exciting innovations on the way.

“We’re thrilled to bring sim racing to the next level in our partnership with SRO Motorsports America, an international leader in GT racing,” said Yen Hoang, senior manager of brand marketing, ASUS North America. “ASUS ROG has always been a fan of esports, and we’re excited to see its growth and impact in bridging real world sports and gaming competition!”
