AF Corse USA capped off a high-stakes campaign by clinching the GT World Challenge America Am Class championship with the No. 163 Ferrari 296 GT3, driven by the pairing of Jay Schreibman and Oswaldo Negri. Their title triumph was built on admirable resilience and a strong seven-win season, highlighted by a double-points victory at the Indianapolis 8 Hour, where they were joined by Conrad Grunewald.
From the opening rounds, AF Corse USA knew they had a fierce battle on their hands. Their primary competitors at Dollahite Racing pushed them and kept them honest, amplifying the pressure at every event. The rivalry intensified even further when Schreibman and Negri were forced to miss the two rounds at Sebring International Raceway. With zero points available from those races, the duo had no margin for error for the rest of the season.
What followed was a showcase of discipline, preparation, and execution. Every weekend became a scenario in which they had to maximize and strive for victory, and the team responded with a string of performances in which they did exactly that. Their hallmark moment arrived at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the No. 163 Ferrari delivered a faultless run in one of the toughest environments on the calendar. Grunewald’s addition to the lineup proved seamless, contributing to a dominant showing that ultimately solidified the championship landscape.
Behind the scenes, both Schreibman and Negri approached the season with the same intensity and commitment going into each and every round. Negri’s deep well of experience fueled the effort, while Schreibman embarked on a personal transformation by elevating his training, preparation, and focus to meet the demands of a full-season championship campaign.
“This season was so meaningful for me on many levels,” expressed Jay Schreibman. “Early in the year, I suffered a serious back injury that put me on the bench for months. It made even the simplest movements a challenge, let alone driving a GT3 car at the limit. I missed the Sebring races as a result of this. There were moments when I genuinely wasn’t sure whether I would make it back to full strength or be able to ever get back in the car, but with the help of my physicians and trainers, I slowly began to rebuild the necessary strength and nerve sensitivity.”

“Returning to the car and competing alongside Ozz was both a challenge and a motivation,” he said. “Week after week, we worked to improve, and the support from AF Corse was nothing short of exceptional. Their preparation and attention to detail gave us the confidence to keep pushing despite the difficulties.”
“Winning the Indy 8 Hour and clinching the GT World Challenge America AM championship was an emotional moment I will never forget,” he recalled. “After everything that happened this year, standing on that podium felt especially sweet. I’m incredibly grateful to our sponsors, to Ozz, to the entire AF Corse team, and to everyone who helped me get back on my feet. This title means the world to me.”
“Looking back on our 2025 season, what stands out most is how hard we had to fight for this championship,” Oswaldo Negri shared. “Every weekend, Jay, the AF Corse team, and I pushed ourselves to be better. One of the most rewarding parts of the year was watching Jay’s growth. His speed and racecraft improved tremendously, and that progress was a crucial part of our success.”
“AF Corse USA delivered flawless preparation, execution, and strategy all season long, and that teamwork is what ultimately put us in a position to fight for the title,” he continued. “The championship came down to the final round at the Indianapolis 8 Hour. Winning that race—and with it, the championship—was an incredibly special moment for all of us.”
For the team and the drivers, the title represents far more than a tally of wins. It reflects a season defined by adversity and answered by precision. Their ability to rebound from missed opportunities, outperform under pressure, and deliver when it mattered most has cemented AF Corse USA as champions worthy of the crown.
