JMF Motorsports Announces a Stellar Roster for the 2025 Indianapolis 8 Hour

The season is drawing to a close for the 2025 GT World Challenge America series, and the finale is shaping up to be the toughest race of the season - the Indianapolis 8 Hour. JMF Motorsports is fighting for an overall race victory, with the hopes of winning the 2025 GT World Challenge America PRO Championship.

The driver line-up for all PRO teams at the Indianapolis 8 Hour requires each entry to have three drivers - with at least one being an FIA Silver rated driver. For this event, season-long regulars Michai Stephens (Silver) and Mikael Grenier (Gold) will be joined by DTM stand-out, Austrian driver Lucas Auer (Platinum).

The STAHLWILLE Tools sponsored #34 Mercedes-AMG is currently sitting second in the championship standings, with solid podium finishes throughout the season. “With the strong driver pairing of Stephens and Grenier, it was important for us to find a driver that would check all the boxes and complement their season-long success at the Indianapolis finale,” says JMF Motorsports CEO, Danny Kok.

JMF Team driver and factory AMG driver, Mikael Grenier, is pleased with the roster; “We are looking forward to our last race of the season - and most important one for us at JMF.  This race comes at the right time for us, as we have improved a lot during the season, and we are ready to fight for the championship. Having Lucas with us will be a big boost,” Grenier continued. “I have raced with him many times and have always enjoyed it.”

“I am really looking forward to joining Michai, Mikael, and JMF Motorsports for the Indy 8 Hour race,” said Lucas Auer. “We are well prepared, and ready to push hard for a strong result!”

JMF Motorsports will also unveil a special livery just for the Indianapolis 8 Hour event. “This is a special event, and, with the race finishing under the lights at the Brickyard, we decided to make the car stand out a little more,” said Kok. “The familiar design will not change, however, we are just adding a little flash!”

The race will be streamed live on multiple platforms. The GT World Challenge website offers a “Watch Live” button, where you can follow the race and watch timing and scoring.  There is also the GT World YouTube Channel for viewing, or the SRO Twitch feed, for a more interactive experience. The Indianapolis 8 Hour drops the green flag on October 18, 2025 at 12:20pm Eastern time.

JMF Motorsports is a team founded in 2020 by Canadian motorsport enthusiast, John Farrow. Along with a single car entry in the GT World Challenge America series, JMF also competes in the GT4 America series with a 2-car effort, and fields a 2-car team in the Touring Car America series.
