Remembering Sheldon Miller

SRO America is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Sheldon Miller, the devoted and beloved Crew Chief at Daskalos Racing and CRP Racing, after his courageous battle with cancer. Sheldon’s immense passion and dedication to motorsport and his team made an indelible mark on the paddock and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him and work alongside him.

As a longtime friend and colleague of Jason Daskalos, he was a crucial part of the CRP Racing operation in their GT America efforts. Having been on the journey together for nearly two decades, their bond and support of one another was uplifting and heartfelt. Miller’s positive attitude and genuine camaraderie made him a truly cherished person everywhere he went.

This past season, Miller was the recipient of the Jerome Zimmermann Award, which is presented to a crew member who showcases exemplary performance and passion for motor sports.

“Sheldon’s passing is a profound loss to the racing community,” shared SRO America President Greg Gill. “He was a true professional, with a wonderful character, whose dedication inspired us all. More importantly, Sheldon was a kind and generous individual who made our paddock feel like a family. We extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones and the CRP Racing team during this difficult time.”

Our hearts are with Sheldon’s family, friends, and teammates as we remember the life and legacy of a man who gave so much to the sport he loved so deeply.
