Dalziel Tops Charts in First GT World Challenge America Practice at COTA

Austin, TX – Ryan Dalziel in the #63 DXDT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 was quickest in this morning’s 60-minute GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS practice session at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).

Dalziel, who will share driving duties with teammate David Askew, posted the fastest time of the session with a 2:04.671. Rising star Rodrigo Baptista posted the second quickest time of the session with a 2:04.866 in the #1 Squadra Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 – Baptista is paired with Martin Fuentes, the 2019 Am Driver’s Champion.

Silver category competitor Trent Hindman in the #93 Racers Edge Acura NSX GT3 posted the fastest time in class with a 2:05.455, good for 9th overall on the charts. Hindman will share duties with teammate Shelby Blackstock

Max Root in the #20 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R posted the quickest time in the Am category with a 2:05.005 – 4th overall fastest time of the session. Root is paired with San Antonio native Fred Poordad.
