Random Vandals Racing (RVR) is proud to announce its entry into the GT3 category of motorsport, marking a significant milestone for the team. RVR will embark on this exciting new chapter with the addition of IndyCar driver Conor Daly alongside Kenton Koch. Together, they will compete in select races of the highly competitive Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS series, beginning with the Road America event in August. BMW M Team RLL driver Connor De Phillippi will join the lineup to compete for the overall win in the prestigious IGTC Indianapolis 8 Hour race to close out the season. All three drivers will take part in a robust testing program prior to Road America and IMS.

“First of all, we could not have made this happen without the incredible support from BMW M Motorsport. They are fantastic partners,” said RVR Team Principal, Paul Sparta. “I am very fortunate to have been a good friend and supporter of Conor Daly for many years, even prior to his IndyCar career. I couldn’t be happier to have him join Random Vandals for his return to sports car racing in the Vbrick Systems BMW M4 GT3. Similarly, we are now in our second year with Kenton Koch, and he has shown his consistent ability to win GT races in multiple formats. The chemistry with our drivers, engineers, and crew should make for a formidable GT3 debut. It only gets better with Connor De Phillippi joining us on loan from BMW for the Indy 8 Hour. These guys know each other well and know what the goal is.”

“It’s been very rewarding to be with RVR for a full year now and see its growth as a program,” said Kenton Koch. “The team has come a long way in a short period of time, and I am super proud to be a part of the vision! Being a part of this new venture into GT3 is going to come with its challenges, but I am confident that this group will be able to succeed. To be able to drive alongside a couple of top tier drivers like Conor and Connor (we will see what nick names we come up with!) is going to be a joy. I always enjoy learning from anyone I have the opportunity to co-drive with and this is no exception. Excited to get to work here and prepare to take the fight to the big dogs in GT3.”

“I have been lucky enough to work with the Random Vandals Racing group for several years off and on as they’ve grown as a team,” said Conor Daly. “The progress that they have made is extremely impressive and I am very thankful to have a chance to get some more sports car racing under my belt with this team. I have a lot of experience now in many different vehicles that I hope to be able assist the team with as they grow! I also want to thank BMW for the support they’ve shown the team as well as we push for wins together.”

“It has been a pleasure to watch the RVR team grow. They've proven their winning capabilities and I’m excited for the opportunity to be a part of the team,” said Connor DePhillippi. “Leveraging my previous experience racing the Indy 8H, two rapid teammates and the impressive team that Paul has put together, I am confident we will achieve a great result.”

“Witnessing the growth of Random Vandals Racing from the first time I encountered them in the paddock in 2020 has been exciting to watch,” said Adam McGregor, BMW of North America Motorsport Manager. “Every year they set their sights on new targets and every year they achieve them. Much credit needs to be given to Paul Sparta for the passionate and dedicated team he has assembled. Paul is a diehard racer and a great partner to BMW. I believe RVR has all the tools they need to step up to GT3 competition.”

Looking ahead, RVR has its sights set on a full season of GT3 racing in 2025.
